When will the conference take place? Where is it being held?

Due to the disruptions caused by the pandemic, the initial conference dates of 3-5 July 2020 has been moved to 2-5 Feb 2021 at RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. It will all be on-line via zoom platform. Once registered, you will be sent a unique log-in to access the online content via this website.

What mode of attendance is available for servdes.2020?

We envisage that travel bans and ongoing disruptions will continue into 2021, so servdes.2020 will offer online attendance. This means registered delegates will have access to all on-line content and the program has been scheduled to accommodate diverse time zones of the presenters.

What measures are being taken with regards to COVID-19?

Rate of COVID-19 infection and confirmed cases in Australia are rapidly declining. However, with ongoing fluctuations of infections in many states, it is impossible to predict if it will be safe for an on-site conference and gathering. If any onsite gathering are scheduled, we will be following government advice to provide up-to-date advice to adhere to strict hygiene procedures as suggested by the Victorian Health Department. https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/staying-safe-covid-19

There will be no refunds for registration cancellations.

You can see the draft program on the Programs page on servdes.2020 website. You can also download the spreadsheet that displays three different timezones (Australia, Europe CET and US EST) and closer to the event, download a calendar so you can book the events you'd like to see in your schedule!

Are presentations and networking times fixed for online delegates?

The draft Programs page on servdes.2020 website accommodates different time zones for on-line presenters. During these sessions, you are able to ask questions and participate in discussions.
